Vet Nurse Mary graduates in Cert IV
Congratulations to Vet Nurse Mary Clapperton, the latest member of the clinical team at Alpine Animal Doctors to attain her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
Mary’s achievement means that the full complement of nurses at the hospital all now hold the highest qualification a veterinary nurse can obtain.
Mary’s big night was on 29 November, at the GoTAFE Award Ceremony. Dr. Bek and Vet Nurse Lizzie Cann turned up unannounced at the ceremony, arriving just as the graduates were lining up to go on stage to collect their awards.
Mary had been told that everyone was too busy to attend that night and we’re not certain if she was horrified or thrilled to see us arrive unexpectedly, but Dr. Bek and the team would never have passed up the opportunity to be with one of our most important and valued staff members on her special night.
Mary is in a special class of vet nurses and we know that, with her new qualifications, she will continue to give our patients and clients the same exceptional service she always does.
